Lava World International, maker of the iconic lava lamp, has been acquired by Talon Merchant Capital, the private equity arm of Talon Asset Management.  Talon Merchant Capital, which targets consumer product companies, is rebranding the company as Lava Lite LLC to drive growth.  Gould & Ratner attorneys Fred Tannenbaum and Chris Horvay represented Talon Merchant Capital in this transaction, which was profiled in the July 1, 2008 edition of The Daily Deal.
