Ron Mora represents individuals (physicians, professional athletes, and entertainers), families, and closely held businesses in wealth preservation, corporate structure and succession planning, estate planning, and taxation. Ron was recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer in 2006.
Ron has assisted families in the creation of family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, and has helped families coordinate their relationships with their accountants, financial planners, life insurance agents, and bankers. Further, he works with clients in the manufacturing, retail, and service industries in connection with the sale and acquisition of businesses and has prepared executive and owner employment agreements, buy and sell agreements, and non-competition agreements.
Representative Matters
- Negotiated and assisted in the sale of a 245-bed nursing home facility;
- Drafted employment agreements for head football and basketball coaches at NCAA institutions;
- Currently assisting the Board of Trustees and Bishop of a congregation in a major building expansion program; and
- Assisted management in the corporate operations of a scrap metal and recycling business.
